Add two small buttons for Prev/Next preset selection right next to preset drop down list and before [+] button which serves as a menu for loading/saving presets.

I understand that once you pick a preset using drop down list you can use keyboard up and down keys to go prev/next but sometimes your left hand is on a MIDI master keyboard and your right hand is on your mouse. Furthermore if you click anywhere else on the screen, the preset drop down list loses focus and keys up and down do not work anymore.

This is a 15 minutes implementation for any developer.

Cheers.

This is the mockup of how I propose it should be:

Using the mouse wheel is good enough *much better* for me. (you don't even need to click it...).
Move your mouse over the presets bar and *wheel* the mouse wheel.

So I wouldn't use the pre/next buttons feature, but I will wait to hear from you about the mouse wheel...maybe you need the buttons for a good reason that I didn't think about yet.

I rarely use the mousewheel. It feels clumsy and unpredictable to me, unless you have a good mouse with a solid wheel. I don't rely on a mousewheel in general.

here's a similar post commenting on the mousewheel: http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=1723

I prefer clicking on buttons. And maybe you can have keyboard shortcuts on them. And maybe you can also control them via MIDI (up/down the patch list)
