FX UI not "in sync" with audio
All of my FX UI's are not in sync with the audio. Example: VU meters are preceding the audio.
All of my FX UI's are not in sync with the audio. Example: VU meters are preceding the audio, "visually".
This occurs on both my macbook pro and Mcpro 8 core - running 10.6.8 and Reaper 4.22 i386.
Thoughts?

It's normal when the anticipative effects processing is on (for better CPU utilization on multicore machines like your 8 core.) There really isn't a way around the visual discrepancy if the anticipative processing is turned on, but you could make the buffer size smaller from the default of 200 milliseconds.

Maybe there should be a REAPER VST extension to allow VST plugins to delay their graphics output?

Thanks for the help!!! It sounds like I can't take advantage of Anticipative FX processing without messing up the UI visual "sync" with the audio. That's a shame.

Try 50 ms. Should be workable and still performant.
