FR: Visual indicator for TCP/Arrange focus state
FR: Visual indicator for TCP/Arrange focus state
DISCUSS: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=564640
Problem:
1.) Select a track in the TCP.
2.) Now also select one or more media items or envelope points in the Arrange area.
3.) Both the TCP AND the items or envelopes will be selected. 4.) But which has focus; the TCP or the Arrange area? You don't know for sure until you click on either of them and then immediately after that, perform a command (delete, etc.)
Solution:
A persistent visual indicator letting you know which part of REAPER has focus, the TCP or the Arrange area. Notice the green upside down "L" in my mockup pictures. They're between the TCP & Arrange areas.
For TCP SELECTION: Line points to the left.
For ARRANGE SELECTION: Line points to the right.
This indicator color should be themeable as to not be obscured by surrounding colors in the users' theme.
Make it an optional theme element for those who do not wish to see or use it.
Thanks!
- Mike
