JS: empty space in GUIs with hidden sliders
JS: empty space in GUIs with hidden sliders
Hidden sliders are not shown in JS GUIs but "reserve" some useless space in them. See the 2 attached JS: the same code, except that the 2nd one has hidden sliders
exactly the same code but with hidden sliders:
Prio.5: it doesn't look like but this is annoying - the user can of course resize the GUI but this size is not persisted. Re-opening the FX dlg will re-display the empty space.
[edit] ok, in fact it's persisted if the FX resize preferences "up" and "down" are not ticked. However, the bug is here.
Rmk: we cannot fix it with "@gfx width height" (as warned in the JS programming doc)

This bug has been silently (or indirectly?) fixed. I don't know when exactly.. so say in v3.6.
THANKS!!
note: indeed "fixed" 'cause I can reproduce it with the same attached JS in older REAPER versions (e.g. 2.58, attached to FX chains as weel as in floating FX).
[EDIT] had a closer... It simply seems that the @gfx height param definition (ie '@gfx width height') is now taken into account.. Cool !
