Hold down the lower shift key then the key one down and one to the right and this will enable it to do just that :)
There are a few cool things it does including assigning buttons to key commands.
Lastly do you use it with "bcfview" lcd emulator? I'm getting lots of crashes here.

Lower shift button + Learn button works good!
I have not used the bcfview emulator a lot, I will tell if I meet issues with it.
