Unexpected behaviour using "extend start.." and "shorten earlier..." in quantize dialog
Video showing and explaining the problem:
http://www.adamwathan.com/reaper/quantizebug.mov
Basically I'm finding that the "shorten earlier items" function isn't taking into account any overlap that you create with the "extend starts" function. If I have "extend starts to overlap" set to 10ms, and "shorten earlier items if they overlap by more than x" set to 5ms, the result is a 10ms crossfade, when it should be a 5ms crossfade. The expected behavior in that scenario is that the left most half of the original 10ms crossfade is retained and used as a 5ms crossfade between the two items.
