OSX lame encoder location
the Apps directory is for apps. the REAPER/UserPlugins is (read: should be) for libmp3lame.dylib
I'm saying "bug" just cause it's not supposed to be this way. can you make reaper look for libmp3lame.dylib here as well:
Users/pixeltarian/Library/Application Support/REAPER/UserPlugins
...but you know, not "pixeltarian" per se.
This is how it is:
This is how it should be:

Even better: it should just go in /Library/Application Support. It is a little tedious and stupid to have to install the same library for each separate user account.

Reaper should already look for the mp3 library in /usr/lib and /usr/local/lib before trying the application directory. We can add /Library/Application Support/ to the path list as well.

that would be easier for people. It took me a while to figure out how to even get to /usr/lib
I didn't know it could only be accessed from the terminal.
some kind of tooltip or little note in the "unable to locate LAME" error dialoge about where all the valid places are would be nice too.

3.41pre4 should look in /Library/Application Support for libmp3lame.dylib, before looking in the Reaper application folder.
