Display confirmation windows close to the mouse position

At the moment most (all?) confirmation windows are displayed in the centre of the screen. Often this requires a lot of mouse movement to click one of the buttons in the window followed by another lot of mouse movement to get back to the area where I was working.

I think that it would be much better and faster (and less wrist strain) if the confirmation window popped up near to the mouse position.

As an example: the top screenshot shows the current functionality and the lower screenshot shows my suggestion. The button triggering a menu then the confirmation window is circled in red, indicating approximately where the mouse pointer would be:

You can see that there would be much less redundant mouse movement.
