Ohnoohnoohnoooooo! I have just spotted a tragic bug introduced on 4.40!
Since 4.40, item fades are lost when moving an item that has been split with the option to overlap and crossfade items enabled. Clic feast!
This behaviour was running as expected until version 4.32.
Steps to reproduce:
- in preference, enable options "create automatic fade-in/fade-out for new items"
- there, enable "overlap and crossfade items when splitting".
- import an item, split it. So far, no problem.
- Move one part of the just split item away from the other and see the split edges come up without fade-in or fade-out.
