Oh no! Could you please make this optional?

My REAPER-based live performance system (10 years in the making) uses 7 instances of Surge VSTi. One for snares, one for kicks, etc. Each instance requires its own set of presets. To facilitate that, I create copies of the VST with different names, like this:

surge-snr.vst3
surge-bass.vst3
surge-bd.vst3
...

So they each show up as a separate plugin in REAPER with their own set of presets.

With the new version 6.58, this is no longer working. Only one instance of Surge appears.

Could you please make this optional?
