I tried this method, but it doesn't work if choose "Render using source: region render matrix via master", I still get stereo tracks instead of mono (if I use "Render using source: region render matrix" (without "via master") it works as described)
I think this is by design and not a bug, but there's a way to force render some tracks to mono via the master?
