1. There is combination of options which produce different behavior on fixed and non-fixed lane tracks.
But it has no sense in this combination and possible usefull behavior missed.
- Don't add lanes
- Split and create takes
- Auto-punch selected items
- When auto-punch recording into a fixed lane track, add the whole recording
This last preference works good only if comping is active, but for tracks with no comping mode it should be ignored.

2. Recording preview doesn't stick to the lane it will be placed on.
Use case:
I need to record several layers for SFX, but each layer can be comped from diffrent takes.
So I record the layers individually, listen how them work together, re-record some of them and edit.
That's similary to how both buggy behaviors look in real work.
