I will certainly be using automation items in the future over four points.

I will also be using sub-projects on a scene by scene basis for the rest of my work for films as to minimize convolution of envelopes and envelope points as fetidus suggested way back.

As far as you can tell for my current workflow, do you think my current method of adding an FX to a track, then a bypass envelope for said effect, then moving on to whatever desired next effect/action is the best method by your judgement? Or do you think there is a better way to do this?

The bypass envelope method I'm using was taught to me by sound editing Prof in Pro Tools, so that's why I use it. However I am more than aware that Reaper is far more flexible program and there may be a way to streamline this process further with the help of some power users out there.

That being said, if you think my method is all fine and good, then cheers.
