I purposely didn't address this in my previous reply because I don't know tbh.

Breeder, who did the Loudness implementation originally said it complies to EBU R128 standard iirc, so I think reading related docs may be the best place to gather info.

This is actually rather interesting, also for self-education.
The 'G' means the channels are weighted slightly differently.
