I bought Jamstix with the intention of using it to subhost Superior Drummer which I already had. More often then not though I'm happy to use the Jamstix sounds by themselves without subhosting. I know technically it isn't supposed to sound as good as Superior, but I just like the way it sounds. I particularly like the the Kits in the Bonzo Pak expansion. They are so big and boomy. Mostly I just use it in drum module mode to provide sounds for my E-Drum kit and just play and track drums live.
