So I'm on a Mac right now, with no num pad.

I added regular numbers to the typically numbed keys. It's not quite as nice as having a numbed, but give it a try. This mac has a turkish keyboard, so other things are still a bit difficult to test, but it still beats using a mouse to me.

All of my custom actions start with a !, so if you press ? to get into the action list, you'll see my custom actions at the top, and can set whichever key you prefer.
