No critique, really... it's a full, dramatic piece... the first 30 seconds are very nice, I would have liked to hear more from those guys, the 4/4 passages... yeah, they return, with a lighter mood, the arpeggios... mixed messages, right? Or mixed feelings about the same life-changing news/circumstances?
Btw... some things around 3.00 made me think: to do a lead phrase that is not really melody, rooted in harmony, but rather disregarding harmony and melodic, rhythmic convention as a whole, as a an effect... it's a very ambitious thing. Maybe it can't really be done. But I appreciate the approach very much.
