3 ms is low, how much lower are you wanting to go? I've not noticed any issues with my latency far higher than that.

I'm running a Focusrite Pro 24, on an i7, and my latency is just about the same.

In the control software, check 'Daw tracking' as your routing preset, and see if the latency is an issue, if not, there you go.
