Here you can see how I use my "show used tracks only" script.
Of course, the TI tags don't get updated, since the script can't communicate with TI.
After executing the script, the BRASS, WOODWINDS, SYNTHS, etc... are completely hidden. It would be great if the track tags could reflect that.
As you can see, when I click on any TCP button, all the tracks get restored,
since TI doesn't know, which tracks have been (externally) hidden.
