I think this song is superb as a composition. The mix is good but it seems overall a little too soft or thin, but the balance is good. Hard to explain, maybe it just needs to be mastered? I like the vocals, and I agree the BG/harmony vocals need to come up more. Everything is played well, your drums are fine.
The one thing that made me curious is how did you do the bass lines? Is that a bass or a keyboard bass? I was hearing bass lines in my head that were maybe a bit more complex, but using the same bass sound that you have in the song.
I really like this tune, and the message. Especially since I just finished listening to the Chicago song "I Don't Want Your Money."
