Aha, I hadn't thought of that.
Indeed, the VST3 files belong either to my-username:staff or root:wheel
[EDIT] in fact most are root:admin and some are root:wheel and a few are username:staff
Oddly enough, the various WaveShells (which are torturing me in the current buggy project of the day) are mixed between the two, even though they were all properly installed by the various Waves installers.
That might need some harmony. What do you reckon, root or user ? Since they live in /Library (as opposed to ~/Library), root seems more logical ?
