Alternative Mute/Solo
I use Reaper partly for training/rehearsing instrumental tracks. Usually I have a multitrack playback and mute the track I am rehearsing. For several reasons it would be useful to be able to fade but not completely mute all tracks exept for one - almost like pressing the Solo button but still being able to hear all the other tracks at a certain level.
As far as I understand something like this should be possible within Reaper. So my questions are:
1) How can this be achieved (by a script or an extension or anything alike)?
2) Can this be toggled by a button that can be integrated into the user interface?
I am completely new to Reaper customization but have a basic knowledge of scripting. So please keep it simple... Thank you!
