Hello all,

Brand new OS/X Reaper user here. I must say I a very, very impressed. I have worked with a lot of DAW programs and did not like them because the complexity required just to do simple tasks. I am just an analog guy who likes to hit record without a lot of fuss. My opinion seems to be changing now that Reaper is available for OS/X.

Quick question. Has anyone used Reaper with the Alesis HD24 stand alone recorder? If so I am interested in hearing about your experience and how the HD interfaces with Reaper through the Fireport. I am mostly going to be using Reaper for drum programming and interfacing with Reason. I will also be doing some editing back and forth between the Alesis.
