Bloody hell, that's just what I've always wanted for tempo mapping a recording.

The undo problem is the same I sometimes have when I do a custom action that "Selects Item under cursor, Place edit cursor, Creates FadeIn, Change FadeInshape to Linear". I keep the button pressed down as I move the mouse cursor, and undoing that sometimes takes a little while
.
Maybe a Cockos thing with "Create undo points on repeating actions only after 300 ms after last action triggered" for example, or the extension itself handles that.
