I just downloaded Reaper and am having the same problem - my normally pretty good-sounding bluetooth stereo earbuds drop to 8kHz 24bit (!!!) mono when I select them as Reaper's audio device. I've requested 48kHz, 44.1kHz, and 32kHz in Reaper's Audio Device Settings, but all I can get is 8kHz.
All other software on my Mac plays music in glorious 48kHz...
Did anyone get anywhere with this issue?
