I've been playing with the Melodyne beta and Reaper pre-released to mess with the ARA2 stuff. I notice that as soon as I have the Melodyne VST3 available, Reaper takes about 8 seconds to start up with a spinning wheel before its ready. If I simply rename the Melodyne.vst to a dummy file type Reaper then starts instantly.

This is without the effect in a project, it seems like there's a needless re-scan every time I start Reaper.

Is this a known issue?
