The balloon popping example video is great. It's very helpful to see such a thing being done. There was an amusing thread on the SurSound group recently about surreptitiously capturing impulse responses of old buildings by popping balloons (starter pistols tend to get security a little bothered). I also like the implementation example is unreal engine. It shows a direct and practical usage.
You could add the above mentioned CATT Gratisvolver as an existing tool for impulse creation. It would be nice to see more detail about how to do the sine sweep capture method although it is a more complicated procedure.
