Yes, that's the one I use too in my band. Sometimes I study a song in a certain key and the singer decides that a different key will fit his voice better. Then I use the JS MIDI Transpose as FX. He he.....
BTW: you can use it as an input FX, but you could use it maybe better in the FX section: if you decide the song needs even one or two extra half notes, the FX is already there. As long as you put the JS MIDI Transpose as the first FX and then your VSTi.
P.S. You could also use JS: MIDI Tool v2, but for only transpose the JS MIDI Transpose is much more convenient.
And there is also JS: MIDI Router/Transpose, which can do also more than just transpose.
