The Loudness calculation takes the 'Channel mode' setting into account which you can set in Item properties.
So if you set this to 'Mono (Left)' (= first channel) before analysis it seems to me you may already be there.
(Would only be my assumption though, I don't work with ambisonic files. If you test let us know your findings.
