It looks to me like something in Hybrid3's install regimen
modified the version of Apple's BonJour network tool,
which get's installed by i-lok -manager. I think Boom is
a much newer refugee from Pro Tools, than Hybrid3,
and Hybrid wanted an older BonJour.

Maybe it's just an oversite in programming that a regression
is allowed. The coders maybe thought it would be Pro Tools
forever an ever.

It can be a pain to deal with BonJour, because it can block
Reaper from starting in some scenarios, mDNSResponder may
be the nuisance tool. Might need to keep Reaper's
version-checking off. If I was in Seattle, I'd be sleepless.
