I think the VS2480 is excellent.
I use mine with REAPER when I
want to get the VS2480 "signature"
sounds and processing
(reverb, mastering, etc).
REAPER is the only DAW that I use.
REAPER is the best DAW on the planet
(my personal opinion).
I use REAPER and it's plugins for
my productions along with the VS2480's
tools also.
I agree that the VS2480 is a great tool.
I use the VS2480 with REAPER when I want
access to it's features, effects, and
certain "signature" processing sounds
that only the VS2480 can provide
(it's own signature sonic foot print).
I like the way it's effects
(reverb, mastering tools, and other stuff)
help to shape and color my sonic canvas
in REAPER (when I'm looking for "that" sound).
The VS2480 is like having additional
specialized paints and brushes in my
tool box while working in REAPER.
