Yeah with my new Ryzen 3700X system, it's similar to that. (With the CPU core boost "on", it's significantly less than that too.) With my previous Core i3 6300 system, it still only took around 0.8% CPU. That's fine even for that relatively lower-end CPU. That CPU use is in line with most reverb plugins that I've used. Some free reverbs use significantly more CPU actually.

Maybe when he tested, he forgot that his CPU was throttling down to a lower frequency (and the number he saw for CPU % was based on the throttled CPU frequency). It seems a fair number of people don't realize that, or notice that a particular plugin can use significantly less CPU when you add more plugins to the project (which should be a hint that the CPU is speeding up, and the CPU % has been scaled as a result).
