    • STRIPS: Strip A, B or C use the same Theme Adjuster settings as the A, B or C layouts.
      • STRIP A, B or C: all buttons except ENV. pull layout up for more buttons and controls and down for less.
      • FADERS: Blue, Green, Gold and Red fader layouts are available.

I really do appreciate the work, it's looks amazing!
But is it just me, that can't work with dark themes long-term? Sure, in the deepest, darkest night a dark theme is more convenient for the eye. But during daytime and early evening a light theme works much better. At least for me.

Still, I'll give that a try (and hope for something in that style in a light version (e.g. the colors of Goldielocks etc.)).

But still - great work!

yep. just did that.
I will probably change it later to just point a list instead of being a list.
It's kinda long now and doesn't include all of the themes.

Default Separator Folder?

First of all, amazing work! I have always been a "default theme" guy but I'm really liking LCS_ZeroDarkSix and LCS_Custom-R6.

Is it theoretically possible to make a 'separator folder' layout in v6 (as you did in the LCS_Reaction_Dark theme)?

The 'separator folder' concept works really well for me based on the way my current project sessions are set up. Honestly I'd even be okay adding a separator folder layout to the default v6 theme if I could figure out how.

So just wondering... is it technically feasible? Is it really difficult or could somebody like me jump in and figure it out?

You can try copying the code for the Separator Layout into the RTconfig in a copy of the default theme.
You will also need to copy the Separator sub-folder into the main image folder for the copy of the default theme.
It may need to be tweaked in order to fit well with that theme.
so yes, it's possible and doable for a first mod.

My first modding attempt was a mod of LCS reFraction which this theme is a product of. If you are going to mod a theme, this would be a reasonable place to start. If the code is is like reFraction (which it should be), it should be fairly easy to follow and not include any off-the-wall bizarre Walter code. I warn you, though, theming is an addicting activity.

Jump in, the waters fine

Thanks! I'll definitely give it a try. I may also try copying the separator folder into copies of the LCS_ZeroDarkSix and LCA_Custom-R6 themes as I really like the styling in those. If I can't get it to work in those I can use the regular separators you have included.

The RetroSonic theme I am working on is based on reFraction. You can check out the thread to get an idea of the trials and tribulations a newbie themer experiences.

That should be easier, since there is already a separator section for the MPC to guide you on where to put the additional separator code.

Success! I ported the 'separator folder' tcp and mcp layouts into LCS-Custom-R6. Super easy to do, and it both looks great and works great! Other than copying sections of the rtconfig file, the only other tweaks involved swapping in different color icon sets for mcp_mute_on.png, mcp_solo_off.png, track_mute_on.png, and track_solo_off.png.

Thanks for the encouragement (and for the theme)!

P.S. I was also able to port your separators into Reaper's default 6.0 theme (but I like your LCS-Custom-R6 theme so much better, so it is my new default).
