Thanks! That sounds useful!

Thanks! Reposting this request from last week as it applies to media length as well

Is it possible to make it so that re-reading metadata doesn't get rid of custom tags?
I've got a ton of databases with custom tags and I'd like to be able to rescan them so they show channel count and length without losing the custom tags

Code:
+ Media explorer: display media length

Does that goes to databases as well ?

An AAA game company contacted me few years ago, they also wanted $bitrate and $bitpersample infos in their databases and few others which seems to be now native if I read the changelog well (length and channel and samplerate)

(brigning that features to them required to scan all the databases files with script so of course if it is native it will be more efficient for them!)

Other users interested in these ?

If you play files from a browser with syncronization, then they don't exactly match. To test this the project needs to set the BPM like the loop BPM. This can be heard well on the same sources if played together. First one source on the track + then the same source in the browser. Then one source on the track + then the same source on the track. The GIF is silent, but you can check it with any loop.

I’d certainly appreciate having bit depth displayed! Also bit rate could be interesting in different situations.

Thanks devs for the implement of auto-cross fade and not always trimming ! Don't know if that will stay, but I like it

still a bit confusing that when you click Apply and you want to close the window without rendering (for example to use the rendering action or rendering script later) you have to click Cancel. It leaves you wondering if it will cancel the applied changes or not.
Maybe when you hit Apply, the cancel button could be renamed to "Close". Or better, put back the "Save and close" button that existed before
