Looks like I need to re-read the user guide for this one!

In the project settings, the pan law gain compensation does not seem to work. Set the pan law to -6dB Sine taper, gain compensation cannot be activated. The more folder tracks I interleave, the quieter the signal gets. Now switch to linear taper, there gain compensation cannot be switched off and the signal becomes +6dB louder.

If I put plugins offline they won't come back online, I try same thing in in v6.64 and no problems.

Even New project, add ReaComp to track, put it offline, when I try to set it online the fx chain window seems to flickering a little like its stuck in a loop or something.

Is it just me?

I can't reproduce this. Could you please run the action to export configuration, select only the configuration checkbox, and post or link to the .ReaperConfigZip file?

Even a clean portable install will do it when using the button "Bring effect online", but menu (and Control+Alt+B) seems OK.

I just noticed that when I import a media file into an empty project and switch between 44100 and 48000 Hz sample rate in the project settings, the media file is then -6dB quieter on playback at 48000Hz sample rate.

I just noticed that it has nothing to do with the sample rate, but the playback volume changes every time I just open the project settings window and click "ok".

NO ... ANY plugins that I put OffLine cause the open FX window to FLICKER the Text.

Glad I'm not the only one. Was driving me crazy :|

Ya OK, confirmed on v6.65, no flicker at all in v6.64.

There is an issue performance if the FX window is docked to the right. The FX window disapears a short time. It seems worst when the plugs are big and built with bitmap. It's slow:



When the FX window disapears, reaper arrangement window freezes. The edit cursor or the play cursor freezes:



There is no issue with FX windows docked to the bottom. It's fast. No window which disapears:
