Default Contextual right click doesn't always work

It seems that right click fails to work the majority of time when the right click drag modifier for arrange is set to any of the "select time" options or some others like scrub, etc.

Frustrating since this is the modifier combination I have found that seems to work best for me. I've been spending quite some time trying to configure things with key modifiers that keep things like "ignoring snap", and other behaviours consistent across various tools and behaviours. This makes that very difficult for me unfortunately

Thanks everyone

Reaper 6.08, MacOS 10.14.4

If anyone has a sec, I'd love to know if this is really a bug or something strange with my particular setup. It's driving me absolutely nuts not being able to right click on items (which to clarify is where this problem seems to exist).

I noticed a strange additional behaviour. With this configuration, double right-clicking now brings up the contextual menu. That and right-clicking seems to pass through an unmodified left click. For example clicking an item toggles selection, or clicking in an empty area deselects items. Neither of which I've configured as the behaviour for left clicks. This is where I think the root cause of this issue lies. Quite the click disaster

Also: tested on both Mac and Win. Same behaviour.

Hopefully this can be fixed soon. A kind plea from me. Please

I am having a similar issue that has come up recently... Maybe in the last update? A single mouse click is behaving like a double click. I thought maybe it was a windows mouse setting causing issues, but it is only in Reaper that I am seeing this. Really annoying when trying to click and drag a selection, because it opens item properties... :P

Following this thread to see if the issues are connected.

Haven't seen that one. Though when I have, it was often mouse driver related. Unfortunately this one is input handling by Reaper and is still present on 6.09. Really frustrating not to be able to right-click. Going to have to change my mouse modifier use to something a little awkward and inconsistent until this is resolved. Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Do you mean the latest release 6.09? Or something in the pre-releases?
