It feels like something weird is happening in this dev.

Grabbing the left side of a split moves one area, but the right side moves both areas.

Intended, or bug?

[*]+ Media item lanes: add comp area mouse modifier to create razor edit and move media items

Very cool thanks a lot!
It would be useful though if it didn't add RE when dragging a comp area from the edge:

Also working that way, I think most of the times is better to drop it to a new lane, but when dropped it in the lane add area it went out of sync.

[*]# Media item lanes: display razor edit button to create comp area only if razor edit does not contain a comp area

Even though it would be nice to show it on un-synced comp areas.

[*]# Media item lanes: if both source and comp items are selected, comp areas move with media items

Super nice!

Another thing that doesn't feels quite right is the behavior in comping lane where the RE+comp area copy/pastes the item each time I'm moving it to another area.
I'd find it more useful if it could cut/paste it instead without creating multiple copies, so that it doesn't get messy with the rest comps.

Interesting option. Wonder what the intended use case is.

Few things I noticed while casually trying it out:

Sometimes when grabbing the right edge it grabs the left edge instead. Also the behavior on the comp lane feels weird. Might be correct though...

It's for re-arranging phrases while comping at the same time I prefer to add it to a new lane and re-arrange.

Mentioned it on my first gif, it would be better if it doesn't add RE when dragging a comp area from the edge.

EDIT: Maybe to remove RE when we don't drag an area? Then it will work as a normal comp area.

Very (very) much appreciated!

There's a similar alignment issue in the media explorer.
(It isn't obvious in the default theme because of the icon background color).

Oh.. got excited to finally get an option to Cut FX when right-clicking them in the mixer but nope..
including automation when cutting FX is definitely a useful feature, if one uses the FX chain window. For the many of us who never open the FX chain window and instead work directly from the mixer with auto-floating FX windows, cutting FX (with or without automation) remains an unaccessible feature. Instead we have to copy->delete->paste..

It would be much appreciated if both menu items for cutting FX could be added to what Reaper calls "FX extended mixer context"!

Actually never understood why not all of the options accessible through the FX chain window are accessible through the mixer FX list too (things like saving FX chains would also be super handy to do right from the mixer FX list).

The OS is Linux. I think the theme in the screenshot is Peace. But it looks the same with most themes I've tried (even ones with custom icons).

Comp into a new copy of this lane
When used on comp lane the item comps are shown as not-syncd.
