Default Sonic's Softmachine theme work in progress , need help of course

work in progress !!
Sonic's softmachine stolen snippets theme.

First of all : I know nothing about coding, scripting etc.

I've used Protools for over 25 years and made the switch to Reaper 5 years ago but I always struggled with the overwhelming GUI visuals no matter what theme I tried.
So I started to compile and copy/pasted parts from other themes that I like.
Credits to those themers. You know who you are,I hope so

Item PT style colors is a script in progress that OLSHALOM and Vitalker are working on.
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=274132&page=6

Now I'm stuck on some minor graphic issues.
track color bands at the base of tcp and mcp are way too bright.
TCP pan value doesn’t follow the knob when stretching tcp.
Also I can't extend the track separator lines on the mcp any further up to the top near the fx knob.
.....
feel free to offer help, instructions, improvements , etc.

thanks

The reason for that is if I release it now it probably never gonna get finished the way I like.

Is that theme based on Default_6.0 or some mod of it? You could look into editing the coloring/transparency of too bright areas in idx images;

That's set by the tcp.pan.label and tcp.width.label lines in rtconfig. Depending on the rtconfig you have based your theme on and how you want those labels work, it might or might not be easy to set up. For example diving into Default_6.0 will be more daunting task in many cases than just making your own. You have studied all the stickies and related documents already?

If I understood that right, it seems to me that you already have lines extending higher up left side of those tracks where you have colored background. So what is different with those tracks, what all images are there in between which might have different edges etc.?

Your theme looks pretty good. I like! One thing, me thinks, is the the transport panel...the orange on the cycle button is a little bit disturbing!
If you don't mind...please share!

Xpander had a look at it but it doesn't seem to be easy to change.
Don't ask me for the details.
yeah, certain elements can be done better.
I agree with the transport buttons and a weird issue withe the pan labeling in tcp not lined up.

I'm planning to rework the whole because it's only usable at 200% now.
