Thanks, that way it's more consistent.

But there is a bug with volume applying.
If zero fader volume applies as +6, then -2 db fader volume should apply as +4 db.

As far as I can tell, this is what is currently happening, as long as the media explorer option "Apply preview volume to inserted media item" is enabled, and the media is inserted via media explorer action or double-click. The only case where the volume is not being applied properly is when dragging from the media explorer. Does that match what you are seeing?

Yes, the bug appears only while dragging.

Side note, haven't heard that term "combo box" for at least 20 years. Everyone calls it a dropdown now lol

Dropdown menu is the thing that pops up when clicking on a combo box. ("Combo" because it usually combines a button/text field with a dropdown menu.)
