Default Why can I not find my templates?

Can any Mac experts explain why I cannot navigate to the REAPER folder which contains my templates and other Reaper stuff? I have attached a screenshot which indicates that it's contained within a system folder called Library on my HD which is invisible when I try to navigate to it (see window on far left). Finder won't find the REAPER folder if I search for it and I cannot work out how to make the library folder visible.

I guess you're on Lion? Lion hides the Library folder for some stupid reason. You can reverse this permanently by opening the Terminal and using this command:

chflags nohidden ~/Library/

...or get to it by going to the Go menu and holding the alt/option key down. The Library will appear there.

Awesome, thanks!

When using the command above, I type this in one line? It's just that when I try this I just get another prompt and nothing changes.

In Finder, click the Go menu and hold the Option (Alt) key to reveal the link to ~/Library.

Yeah I got that, thanks. Would be nice to have it permanently viewable though.

Drag the revealed folder to the user folder while holding Cmd and Alt. That will create a shortcut (alias) which you can then rename if you wish.

Thanks for that. In so doing, I discovered that the Terminal method had already worked after all.
