Default Yo how do I get rid of static feedback when armed to record?

How? I don't know why it does but I get loud static in different daws including this one when arm record is on....HOW do I turn the monitoring off and have it not record the loud feedback static?

When I turn off monitoring the static still gets recorded even though I do not hear it when recording....is there a fix

This has to be basic functionality it just must BE....I mean when one presses record and all of a sudden hears LOUD zoom static like almost clipping loud(at any mic gain/level setting) why is that happening???????? And how do I fix it

you might want to describe what your interface is and its settings & your signal chain etc.
and what are your track settings - what is the input set to?

also, what are you recording when you are getting this "static"? Is it a guitar amp, vocal, acoustic, ect. And do you have static on everything you record.
