Where are cuts stored ?

I have a huge mp3 file with an interview with a person loaded into the first track.

I cut at a place where the subject/new question appears and drag the part from the cut to the end to a new track.

I want to move it ALL to a specific folder but I'm affraid to loose all my cutting work.

Where are all these single cuts offs stored ...

Cutting and moving an item to another track has not created any new files.
The Reaper project just stores the start and end positions and plays the original file from that point.

If you actually want the cut items as separate new files you will need to render them first. You could use glue to do this for example.
