Default Your best bet for finding people to jam with...

OK here's a sticky little thread for you to go to as a reference:

1) Go to http://www.ninjam.com/farm-status.php to see a list of servers, and if anybody is jamming on them.

2) If nobody is jamming, go to the first server in the list ( test.ninjam.com:2049 ) and go there and play and wait. Someone will join eventually! Usually it doesn't take too long!

Repeat.

Hey - over in the REAPER forum they have a sticky for this and it might be good to have one for NINJAM. So I'll start one here on Justin's "Your best bet..." post.

Synthany here. Keyboards and vocals and vocally-controlled synthesizer. Circuit-bent toys. Discussion. Grad student.

next?

Drums -- ns_kit7 full: almost always Rock Kit, snares on, with sticks; triggered from my TrapKAT (lovely dull grey, unlike my avatar).

If you ever hear me trying to make a synth make sounds, you'll probably skip to another channel .

Default hello

Jambot from Tennessee. I rock the drums and percussion whenever I can. I also attempt to stimulate the strings and massage the ivory (well, plastic). I like to play and hear new things. I don't like to color inside the lines.

I go looking for Pljones posts when I lose the link. :P

I'm Andy Pandy, I play anything I can, ill even make sounds with my arm pits if it sounds musical.
I like adding FX to everything and love flowers, there just so pretty.
I don't know what that has to do with anything, but there just so pretty...

I'm gonna go jam a song about it now!

and why do people keep leaving the servers?
Someone let me know pleassse... I miss u all so much when u leave.
Come back!

Default "Introduce yourself"

Hmm, seems like AndyMC had the same problem as I am having, almost a year ago!

Anyway, introduction... I am "doorthe" on ninjam (still open for business?) and ninbot. I play guitar in the jazz/funk/blues/shred styles; and more recently, guitar synth - so look out for my tenor sax, muted trumpet, and trombone! Heh.

Ninjam is taking me away from wood-sheding with Band-in-a-Box (don't nobody says I need it but me!), but I dunna care, I like it, I like it!!!

But to everybody who plays so well, stop jumping off the servers! Stay and play! Or at least tell us where you're going!

Justin is there any chance of allowing other servers to the server list on Jam Farm?

Pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls.

Or even better would be being able to add a server though the Forum or Site which if not active for say 30 days just purged out, I think this alone would encourage more people to start servers. :P

I've not spammed Justin in the Reaper 3 forum... But I think it's either that or PM him. He will read the PM!

Default Ninjam and 3D virtual world - Invitation

Hello Guys,

We are developing a 3D virtual world, and we setted up a Ninjam stream into a virtual stage inside the game. We want to invite all the jammers, to create the avatar and come and play live, from ninjam into the 3D virtual stage with 3D virtual musicians, and if you guys organize it scheduled, we could promote it, and even in some future, the musicians can be tipped by the regular players.

The 3D world is: http://roleplayworlds.net
to create the avatar account: http://grid.roleplayworlds.net
the ninjam server is: rpwmedia.net (you can log anonymous)

This is a experiment, and we believe will be fun for everyone. Feel free to contact me if need more info.

Regards.
