Default One track out of time ?

I recorded the first three tracks the same way as I'm trying to record the 4th but as soon as I listen to playback , the 4th track is out of time even though it was recorded while monitoring the first three ?
Any thoughts ?

There's probably some latency introduced somewhere during recording which results in the offset.

According to a screenshot in one of your other threads you're currently using 48kHz, 24-bit WAV, 256 samples, ASIO with 11ms latency.
In that's still the case, you can try using a smaller sample size than 256 in order to achieve a lower latency (if your computer can handle lower settings without getting any crackles or audio dropouts).

Another option is to check out is to set a negative/positive Output or Input Offset (in ms + samples) manually via Preferences > Audio > Recording > Output / Input manual offset.

Or adjusting the recorded Audio Media Item:
- For instance by adjusting the position of the Media Item manually via mouse or by using Item > Nudge/Set Item.
- Or by moving the Item Contents inside the Media Item by using Alt + Left Drag
- etc ...

OK ^
But why would the fourth track have been recorded that way if tracks 2 & 3 were recorded in perfect time and the exact same procedure was followed ?

Ah, OK.

Are there perhaps any additional effects on this Track?

Otherwise it's quite difficult to guess without seeing the Tracks or Project. So maybe you can post screenshots or attach the .RPP project file to a post?

It must have been the reverb knocking it out of whack .
Thank you !
I just eliminated it altogether .

Maybe the effect was set 100% wet so you weren't hearing any dry signal and only the delay.
