Default create a small acousmonimum. how to do it ?

hello
I would like to create a small acousmonium with my mixer.
I would like to broadcast a stereo item on 10 speakers.
and I'd like one fader to be connected to two speakers.
by moving each fader, i'd like to move the volume of the two linked speakers.
how can i do this please?
thanks

Assuming that you have a hardware mixer with 10 inputs and outputs, each track of reaper can have separate hardware outs. put 6 tracks. route track 1 to each of the other 5 tracks, and then route those tracks to separate hardware outs.

thanks
do i need to have my sound card connected before i can route tracks on reaper?
can you simulate on reaper before having the hardware interface connected?
I want to be able to control the volume with a Behringer BFC 2000 console. Do I need a specific fx for that?

Hello,
There are two methods, the very old one, and the less old one ;-)
From what you write it is rather the second one: a stereo track containing the file is sent to 5 other stereo tracks, each outputting on two different outputs of your sound card, which of course has 10 outputs.
The BCF then controls the level of these 5 tracks via automation.
This method has the advantage of being able to broadcast something other than stereo ;-)
The other method (as Sid has written) requires a mixing console that has direct outputs: the stereo output of Reaper is sent to the console, whose internal routing allows it to send this input to each of its tracks. If it does not allow it, we used to use Y cables to distribute the stereo on all the channels!

Easiest method : it is also possible to use a plugin on a single track and automate its parameters.
It can be done with the ReaSurround and some Acousmodules too ;-)

Use only one track, 10 channels, normally routed to the Master, also 10 channels and your 10 outputs soundcard.
The ReaSurround acts as a router (input 1 to outputs 1/3/5/7/9 etc.) and a volume control via automation on its outputs.
If you don't have a multichannel soundcard and just want to hear in stereo (??), you can route outputs 3>10 to 1/2 in the output map.

Chouette ;-)
