Keyboard stops responding

Cant seem to find anything searching forum but have a strange problem.

I have configured many keyboard shortcuts but I find that reaper will stop responding to my keyboard after some time of use. I seem to lose the transport controls and the delete key.

edit: have left & right arrow assigned to 'view:move cursor'. If I use those keys they work once then I lose all of my keyboard shortcuts. But if I hold shift and space playback starts but space alone wont start or stop playback anymore.


I can use the menu for these functions but cant work out why it is happening. The keyboard does still work as I can still type into dialogue boxes (within reaper fx for example) but have to save and restart reaper to get keyboard shortcuts back.

I use the 'reamenu' as a starting point when changing keys and menus.
Has anyone heard of that causing problems?
