Default In-line MIDI Editor...is being retarded

When I record, say 40 bars of MIDI, split at 16 and delete the rest, most of the notes inside the remaining 16 disappear, it still plays, but there is no visual representation. Also random, weird notes are being displayed that are not there.

Anyone else?

I can't reproduce it here. Care to upload a project file to demonstrate the problem?

Cheers

Do you still have that project with that MIDI item? It'd be really useful for devs to take a look at it.

I still can't reproduce it here. One question, is "Allow trim of MIDI items when splitting" on?

yeah, i still have it, and yes, "Allow trim of MIDI items when splitting" is/was on.
I just turned it off and reset preferences and it still exhibits the same behaviour.

Its happening when i loop an item, "copy loop of selected area of items" from inside the loop, paste, hit "E" to open in-line editor, extend the new MIDI item and then the velocity values change and length of items is altered, as well as new notes that arent there and others that disappear.

Also notice the items i circle with cursor. What are they? I havent entered them in there and they dont show up in MIDI editor as any values..

seems to be getting worse, in as much as its playing notes I havent entered and will not represent them in editor and I cant delete them.

Im looping four bars of MIDI right now as I write and it will randomly play a note at the begginning of the pass.
I reopened the editor and this time the "phantom" notes were represented, I deleted them but they still play.

WTF?

How exactly do I upload this project info for the devs?

ZIP the file, and when replying, scroll down a bit and click on "Manage Attachments". Browse to that ZIP file, and Upload. That's it.
