I am mainly a guitar guy...but all these synth vst downloads are filling up my drive quickly..lol.

Thanks! I'm happy that you liked it! For some reason, the high frequencies got distorted after uploading to Soundcloud. I have to look into that...
Most of the sounds, like lead, bass and pad, comes from Synthmaster One, than I also used z3ta+, T-force alpha plus, Rapture Session. For drums I used some samples in the ReaSamplomatic5000. I don't use hardware synths.
I guess that technically you only need one single soft synth that has a good sound and versatile functions and than you can create any sound you want. If you are using presets a lot (like I do,) I understand your VST hoarding...We all suffer from that

I like em both. V2 for me, seems more pulsing - does the bass come in sooner or something?

re: VSTi collection - yep. As a guitarist it satiates my GAS and only takes up some hard drive space. And some time using them.

I like Synth1, and find it has a great mix of power and usability for my noobish sound creation.
Aura Qualic's preset bank sounds really great to my ears.
