V4.62 64 bit download problem

Whenever I try to download the 64 bit 4.62 version I get a "The connection was reset" message. The first time I tried to download it my anti-virus software flagged it. Anyone else out there having problems downloading the 64 bit version?

That "connection reset message" sounds like it may be coming from your internet provider.

You are receiving a "false positive" message from your AV software, which AV software are you using?

Yeah, I had a similar problem. I just disabled the anti-virus (Avast) for 10 minutes and download was fine.

I don't like having any AV software, running on my machine especially while REAPERING. I opted for a cloud based AV when necessary, absolutely no problems for 2-3 years!

Thanks everyone. My AV software is Avast! so I think I'll try as Pickasso suggested. Just for laughs I tried to download the 32 bit version - no issues at all with that one... Thanks again!

Bingo!!! Disabling Avast! temporarily did the trick. Thanks Pickasso!
