Roland Trance - A little progressive trance tune I made using Reaper, the MIDI editor, where the tracks where each routed to a different MIDI channel and connected to a different Roland instrument.
I used the Roland TR-707 for drums and percussion, the JX-3P for a bass line, JP-8080 and Gaia for backing rhythm, JD-990 for voice pad, SH-32 for a simple lead, and D-550 for another pad.
The TR-707's 10 individual outputs is run through a Behringer mixer, stereo positioned, equalized, and effects from mixer, Boss RCE-10, and Boss VF-1 added for a few sounds. Also I use the mixer's delay effect on the JX-3P bass sound. BTW if you have a JX-3P which in my opinion can sound just likea JUNO 106, check out another of my videos, where I use the Behringer Xenyx 2442FX mixer's canyon delay effect to make super charged chorus sounds!
